John Knudson

John Knudson, aka Johny K, began his life as a professional musician in Cache Valley, Utah while he was a child, thanks to the unending support of his parents. He has spent more than 35 years traveling across the U.S. since the age of five, showcasing his talents at prominent venues including the White House, Kennedy Center, the Smithsonian Galleries, and 911 Memorial. He has had the honor of performing for the last four U.S. Presidents, as well as for Donald J. Trump at his New Year’s Eve party at Mar-a-Lago, Florida.

He has been featured on Platinum Weddings for the Oprah Winfrey Show and shared the stage with Aretha Franklin, Bon Jovi, Alabama, Lee Greenwood, Billy Joel, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and Marvin Goldstein. He has also accompanied the great Soviet American dancer and actor Mikhail Baryshnikov at the grand opening of Federal prison-turned Workhouse Art Center in Lorton, Virginia.

John returned to Utah in 2013 to marry his childhood sweetheart Jeanne. He is a Professor of Violin & Viola Instruction at Utah State University (USU) and a string instrument luthier, making and repairing instruments as “Johny K the String Doc" in his business JKStringz. He received a Bachelor of Music Degree from USU and a Master of Arts degree at George Mason University, both in Violin Performance.

John Knudson and Jason Tonioli met while performing with the musical group CaraNua (formally of Celtic Women and River Dance) in its first U.S. concert in January 2018. Their collaboration on various projects with producer Chuck E. Myers has led them to channeling their talents and bringing about the album “Finding Peace.”

Jason Tonioli

Born in Nevada and raised in Soda Springs, Idaho and Roy, Utah, Jason was the typical kid that didn’t like to practice piano. Credit to a mom who wouldn’t let him quit, he has grown up to produce eight piano solo books and eight piano solo albums with raving reviews. His music has been streamed more than 40 million times by a global audience.

He is known for his original piano compositions and hymn arrangements. Some of his most popular albums include Be Still - Piano Hymns, Favorite Hymns with CaraNua, and Life Reflections.

His music is frequently featured on Whispering Piano Radio and many of the most popular easy-listening radio stations in Utah, Idaho, Arizona and beyond. His music has also been featured on the National Geographic channel as well as the popular television show History of the Saints and other TV programs and documentaries.

In 2017 he released the album Favorite Hymns with CaraNua, an Irish music group formed by three of the world’s leading Celtic voices, from Celtic Woman and Riverdance - Alex Sharpe, Lynn Hilary, Edele Murphy and Lisa Nolan, featuring vocals with his music. He also co-owns the record label Aingeal Music Worldwide with Chuck E. Myers.

Over the course of his professional life, Jason the Renaissance man has also worked in banking for nearly 18 years, founded and sold a successful software company, and is now an owner of the VIP custom-travel agency Amazing Vacations Costa Rica.

He is married to Stacy and they are the parents of four amazing musical children. Jason spends his leisure chasing kids, creating more music, and coaching two soccer teams.

His newest album “Finding Peace” is a collaboration with celebrated violinist John Knudson, featuring CaraNua.
